Question 2 - How much does Ceph Assistant cost?

After the free trial, Ceph Assistant offers a convenient monthly subscription plan for individuals at a cost of net of 20 euros. This subscription plan provides unlimited analyses, allowing orthodontists to make the most of the software's capabilities without any limitations. See pricing plans.
The free trial does not require users to provide credit card information. Only basic details such as email, name, and password are necessary to access the trial. Register and start a free trial.

Question 3 - How can I start using Ceph Assistant?

Starting to use Ceph Assistant is super easy, just click on the REGISTER button on the website. You only need to provide your email, name and create a password to set up your account. There is NO credit card required. Once you confirm your email, you will have access to 3 free analyses with full functionality.

Question 4 - What types of cephalometric analyses are provided?

Ceph Assistant software provides users with a comprehensive selection of the most popular cephalometric analysis types. These include Segner-Hasund, Ricketts, Steiner, Downs, Bjork-Jarabak, Rakosi, Tweed, Wits, Full and Quick analyses.

Question 5 - How can I execute a cephalometric analysis?

Step 0 - Upload a ceph X-ray image
Step 1 - Patient info:
- Provide information about the patient up to your choices, such as ID, date of birth or gender.
- Adjust the image brightness and contrast using the sliders to ensure clear visibility of important features.
Step 2 - Cephalometric analysis:
- Before proceeding with the analysis, ensure that you have set and placed the ruler correctly on the X-ray image to establish accurate measurements.
- Select an analysis from the standard types available within the software or use your custom analysis tailored to your specific needs.
- If necessary, select and place points on the X-ray image using the left mouse click to further refine the analysis.
- Create your own measurements using the protractor and ruler buttons.
- Utilize the zoom function by scrolling or dragging a box with the right mouse button to focus on specific areas of interest in the X-ray image. Zoom out by performing a double right mouse click.
Step 3 - Save the results:
- After completing the analysis, you can save the results by downloading a PDF report with all the selected attachments and details.
- The PDF report will contain the cephalometric analysis results and any additional information you provided about the patient.

Question 6 - How can I create a custom analysis?

Step 1 - Collect parameters from the standard analysis types: Start by exploring the various standard analysis types available in the software. These standard analyses provide a wide range of parameters to choose from, giving you a comprehensive set of options to work with.
Step 2 - Set parameter properties and specify the order: Select the parameters that are most relevant to your analysis. Customize the properties of each parameter to align with your preferences. Arrange the selected parameters in the desired order to structure your custom analysis according to your preferred layout.
Step 3 - Save and name your custom analysis: Once you have defined and organized your custom analysis with the chosen parameters and their properties, save it within Ceph Assistant software. Assign a meaningful and distinctive name to your custom analysis for easy identification and future use.

Question 7 - How can I add a harmony box and facial growth pattern to the report?

In case you measured all the required parameters for the harmony box and facial growth pattern you can attach them to the final report. The necessary parameters are ML-NSL, Index, Gonial Angle, ML-NL, SNA, NSBa, ML-NSL and SNB. If you would like to generate those attachments, please select Segner-Hasund or Full analysis, or customize your own containing the parameters above.

Question 8 - Who is responsible for the generated reports?

Ceph Assistant provides you with a web application to help you with the cephalometric analysis process, but all the decisions and freedom during the evaluation remain yours. According to the Terms and Conditions 4.7: "Intellectual property rights created by You via the use of the Ceph Services belong to You in the extent applicable pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations." and 6.6: " It is your sole responsibility to verify any information contained in Ceph Website prior to rely upon it."

Question 9 - Can I access my analyzed images in the software?

As of now, Ceph Assistant software does not provide direct access to analyzed images within the application. The generated reports are downloaded and stored locally on your computer. However, the development team is continuously working on enhancing the product, and there are plans to introduce a database feature in the future.

Question 10 - Can I share my account with other people?

No, sharing your account with other people is not allowed as per the terms of use that you accepted during registration. The subscription for Ceph Assistant software is intended for individual use only.
Sharing your account can have several negative consequences. Firstly, it may result in the loss of your customized settings within the software. Each user's preferences and settings are unique to their account, and sharing it could lead to confusion and inconvenience. Additionally, sharing your account allows others to generate reports under your name. Moreover, sharing your account may compromise the security of your personal information, including credit card details. Keeping your account information private helps protect your financial and personal data from unauthorized access.

Question +1 - How can I unsubscribe and delete my account?

To unsubscribe from Ceph Assistant, follow these simple steps. First, go to your Profile/Subscription section, where you'll find a link that says "here." Click on this link to initiate the unsubscribing process. Once you have completed the unsubscribe procedure, you will still have access to your profile and all its features until the end of your current billing period. After that, no further charges will be made to your credit card.
If you wish to delete your entire account, please send an email to info@cephassistant.com expressing your request. The customer support team will assist you in permanently deleting your account and any associated data from the platform.
